Carpentry Level III Apprenticeship

Carpentry apprentices will work on both domestic and commercial sites with various host employers constructing building frames including wall studs, floor joists, ceiling frames, installing flooring systems, windows, doors and moldings, pitched roofs and eaves, internal and external stairs made from wood and other materials. A carpentry apprentice will be taught to read drawings and specifications to building standards in each region and the needs of the client. An apprentice will be taught to measure, shape and cut wood, drywall, fiberglass, plastic and other materials. They may also be required to inspect and replace damaged structures and fixtures.
